Northwood, OH – November 8, 2022

Telesystem, a leading nationwide provider of voice, networking, and cybersecurity solutions, announced today that Channel Futures has named Telesystem Chief Revenue Officer Bruce Wirt to its 2022 list of Networking and Connectivity Channel leaders. For the first time, this list recognizes the industry leaders who will redefine the partner-supplier relationship, thereby shaping the future of the technology brokerage and distribution channel.

The networking and connectivity channel leaders were chosen based on the market share and growth potential of their company, the strength of partner network, the scope of partner program, and the individual’s impact on the partner ecosystem.

Bruce Wirt has worked in the telecommunications industry for nearly 24 (20 in roles that touched the channel) years and is currently the chief revenue officer at Telesystem, a position he has held for four years. Wirt has successfully led two different organizations from regional to national programs through comprehensive brand awareness initiatives and the development of strong channel programs. He has a decorated leadership career with an extensive coaching tree and has a passion for public speaking and developing others. Bruce is passionate about giving back; he regularly donates his time and talent to charity organizations as an event emcee.  Bruce has also been named on the CRN Channel Chiefs list and was recently the keynote speaker at the inaugural CVx Expo in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“This award was a complete surprise and a huge honor to be recognized in the same conversation as some of the other names on the list,” said Wirt.  “My chief focus is to elevate the people I have under my care, and ultimately the brand that I represent.  I am extremely passionate about how impactful the channel ecosystem can be for both people and organizations when utilized correctly.  The channel is such a powerful community, and I’m so proud to be thought of when it comes to shaping its future.”

The channel leaders list, compiled by Channel Futures editors, is intended to provide the partner ecosystem with an in-depth look at each industry segment and spotlight those individuals responsible for the strategic direction of partner-facing organizations. As the nature of the channel changes, partners are developing deep ties with numerous suppliers in each technology solution segment they support. The channel leaders lists will identify the executives with whom they should establish strong relationships going forward.

“Channel Futures is once again demonstrating the incredible value it brings to its readers and the entire channel by debuting the Channel Futures Leadership list. This list was compiled after months of tireless work by our media team to identify true leaders in the channel by industry category. It is critical for the partners who are focused on these markets to be able to understand who is making the investments and decisions in the channel that impact their future. We are proud to present these executives to the entire channel,” said Kelly Danziger, V.P., GM Informa Tech Channels.

“As the industry faces one of its most tumultuous periods, it is essential for channel partners to connect with the leaders of today’s strategic technology providers. These individuals are the ones who are guiding their organizations and partner ecosystems into the future with innovative thinking and industry-defining channel programs. Channel Futures has identified the individuals who are fueling a new wave of growth and solutions partners can bring to customers.” said Robert DeMarzo, VP, Content, Informa Tech Channels.
